Synthetic Covers

 

For almost 20 years, Jomac has led the industry in the production of very high quality, seamless synthetic roller covers. With Greensleeves™, WaterSleeves™ and the others in the line, we've proved that lint-free, uniformly absorbent synthetic covers can produce sharper dots and better dampener control, job after job. We've also shown that long life, resistance to ink build-up and easy cleaning are part of the package. No wonder Jomac synthetics are the industry's standard, all around the world.

 

All of our most popular synthetic covers are available in rolls, which can easily be cut to a custom fit on any roller. For larger pressrooms, this is a convenient and cost efficient method of providing top quality Jomac synthetic roller covers on a timely basis.

 

 

Greensleeves™
For the waterform or ductor roller of web offset newspaper presses, Greensleeves is a major advantage. Its synthetic fibers are lint free, uniformly absorbing, long lasting and resistant to ink build-up. They're also easy to clean. Available in 10 and 25 yard (9.15 m to 22.87 5m) rolls, with outside diameters from 0.875" to 4.875" (22 mm to 124 mm).

WaterSleeves™
For the waterform roller of sheetfed and web presses, WaterSleeves is a shrink fit, lint-free alternative to paper sleeves. Specifically designed to improve dot sharpness, WaterSleeves' synthetic construction is non-patterning, resistant to ink build-up and easy to clean. WaterSleeves are custom made with drawstrings to fit your press. Also available in rolls. Outside diameter sizes from 1.18" to 3.94" (30 mm to 101 mm).

The Shrink Cover®
For the waterform or ductor rollers of sheetfed and web presses, The Shrink Cover is a pure white, shrink fit cover. Synthetic construction means it's lint-free, uniformly absorbing and long lasting. The Shrink Cover is available in 10 (9.15 m) and 25 yard (22.875 m) rolls, and in pre-cut sizes for smaller presses and duplicators. Outside diameter sizes from 0.875" to 4.875" (22 mm to 124 mm).

 

J-Lastic Synthetic
For the pan roller, the intermediate ductor roller or the waterform, J-Lastic Synthetic is a premium quality, elasticized alternative to paper dampeners. Its synthetic fibers provide consistently high absorbency and a long, lint free life. Highly resistant to ink build-up and easy to clean. Available in 25 yard (22.875 m) rolls to fit your press. Outside diameter sizes from 1.25" to 4.25" (32 mm to 108 mm).

 

GSS News-Knit®
For the water pick-up rollers of web offset newspaper presses, GSS News-Knit is a premium quality, shrink fit cover. Its synthetic fibers make it lint-free, uniformly absorbent and long lasting. Offers consistently high performance, along with excellent resistance to ink build-up. Easy to clean. Available in 13 yard (11.88 m) rolls, to fit the rollers of most popular presses. Outside diameter sizes from 2" to 3.62" (51 mm to 92 mm).

 

Dura-Shrink®
This seamless, synthetic, shrink-fit cover is made especially for the intermediate ductor rollers on all Heidelberg K Series presses. Dura-Shrink covers come in sets of three sleeves with drawstrings at one end and cable ties to secure the other end.
