The Shrink Cover®
The Shrink Cover® is a premium, lint-free, synthetic water form and ductor roller cover, which lasts up to 4 times longer than traditional cotton covers. They offer uniformly absorbent operation, and a tighter knit, allowing for a more stable and reliable ink/water balance and a sharper dot.
Save money with less down time because The Shrink Cover®’s specially treated fibers are easy to clean, resist ink build up, and are easy to install. Just pull The Shrink Cover® onto the roller and run under hot water. In 2-3 minutes the cover shrinks to a perfect fit, resisting twisting and creeping. Before installation, The Shrink Cover® is slightly oversized for the ease of use, while still providing a tight fit when shrunk over the roller. The Shrink Cover must be installed with the loops out to work properly. Recommended water temperature to shrink the cover is 120 ° F (50 ° C) for two to three minutes.
This a pure white, shrink fit cover is available in 10 (9.15 m) and 25 yard (22.875 m) rolls, and in pre-cut sizes for smaller presses and duplicators. Outside diameter sizes from 0.875" to 4.875" (22 mm to 124 mm).
