Cotton Covers
When we introduced a brand new circular-knit material way back in 1938, we started a revolution. The future of seamless dampener covers had begun. And since then, we've improved and expanded our line of pure cotton products to the point where it's easily the largest and best available. For many of our customers, only a genuine Jomac cotton cover will do. Rest assured that the legendary quality that helped build our worldwide reputation will continue to be built into every roller cover we make.
"A"- Tex®
For the waterform or ductor roller of sheetfed and web presses, this is the original seamless dampener cover. "A"- Tex®'s bleached, absorbent cotton-looped fabric provides consistent performance on most medium and large presses. Available in 25 yard (22.875m) rolls, and pre-cut sizes for smaller presses and duplicators. Outside diameter sizes from under .75" to 6.25" (19mm to 159mm).
Uni-Damp®
For the waterform or ductor roller of small sheetfed presses, Uni-damp® has a uniformly sheared surface that gives a velvet velour-smooth finish. This finish also provides maximum moisture control in absorption and transfer. Available in 25 yard (22.875m) rolls, or in pre-cut sizes for smaller presses and duplicators. Outside diameters from 1.125" to 6" (28.6mm to 152.4 mm).
Super-Damp
This combination synthetic/cotton cover provides the convenience of shrink-to-fit with the water control of cotton.
J-Knit
For fast color changes on sheetfed or web presses, this versatile cover is ideal. it simply slips over the existing cover, and is removed at the end of the run. Available in 25 yard (22.875m) boxes, with outside diameters from 1.125" to 6" (28.6mm to 152.4mm)
J-Lastic
For the water pan roller, fountain roller or intermediate ductor roller, J-Lastic is an elasticized cotton cover that's highly absorbent, and an excellent alternative to linen covers. Available on 25 yard (22.875m) rolls, with outside diameters from 1.125" to 6" (28.6mm to 152.4mm).
These seamless, medium weight cotton covers for the water pickup pan rollers of newspaper presses are highly absorbent and durable. News-Knit also works great as a ductor cover. News-Knit rolled material comes in boxes of 25 yard (22.875 m) rolls.
Bild-Up®
Designed for water pick-up rollers on web offset newspaper presses, this light-weight cotton cover is dense, highly absorbent and durable. Available in 25 yard (22.875m) rolls, with outside diameters from 1" to 6" (25.4 mm to 152.4 mm)
